Mariam Koita's 60 and 200 times moves her into top times in the nation at Widener Indoor Classic at The Ott Center.
FRIDAY – SHOT PUT & WEIGHT THROW AT WIDENER
Kayla Robinson took second overall in the shot put with a mark of 12.48-meter throw.
Isabel Rodriguez threw a 13.74-meter mark in the weight throw.
Jillian Walker and
Jayden McCracken threw 11.90-meters and 11.83-meter distances.
SATURDAY – TRACK AND JUMPS AT THE OTT CENTER
Sarah Paulin opened the meet with a personal best with a 20:13.20.
Mariam Koita and
Maria Muzzarelli highlighted the 60-meter dash as Koita led with a 7.74 for a personal best. Muzzarelli ran a 7.87 for fifth overall. In finals Koita ran a 7.68 to rank 18
th in the nation while Muzzarelli saw a season best 7.78 to rank 42
nd in the nation.
Koita saw a personal best in the 200-meter dash to take first overall with a 24.71 to move into 9
th in the nation. Muzzarelli saw a season best 25.40 and moved 55
th in the nation.
In the 3000-meter,
Kathryn Long took first overall with a new personal best 10:21.34. Liz Egan saw an 11
thoverall finish with a 10:35.35 and
Loralei Golembiewski clocked a 10:42.84.
