MEDIA, Pa. - Widener Women's Basketball pushed its perfect start to 5–0, overpowering Penn State Brandywine on the road, with a commanding 86-36 win.

Widener dominated the opening quarter from the start, turning defensive pressure into immediate offense on the way to a 23–6 lead. Robbins struck first in transition, and the Pride quickly piled on as Riley Stackhouse, Liliana Metrick, and Kutz each knocked down threes to stretch the margin. Jayla Daniels fueled multiple scoring runs with steals and assists, while Baer and Kutz added finishes at the rim as Widener forced turnover after turnover. The Pride closed the period on a 14–2 run and held Penn State Brandywine scoreless from the field for the final three minutes to take full control early.

The Pride continued to overwhelm Penn State Brandywine in the second quarter. Palmieri opened the frame with two free throws, and Robbins followed with multiple drives to the rim while Baer added timely finishes and rebounds. Daniels sparked another defensive surge with steals that turned into runout points, and the Pride's depth contributed late with buckets from Mia Elisano and Mikeala Stair. Widener closed the half firmly in control, leading 47–11 at the break.

Widener kept full control in the third quarter. Stackhouse sparked the period with a jumper and a three, while Kutz continued to dominate in transition with a pair of fast-break layups. Daniels provided a late surge with seven points in the final minutes, helping the Pride outpace Brandywine once again and take a commanding 66–25 lead into the fourth.

The Pride closed out the game with another dominant quarter. Sophia Sanchez opened the frame with a layup before Metrick and Palmieri added steady mid-range and paint scoring. The Pride forced several turnovers that turned into transition points, highlighted by Breelynn Leary's jumper and Stair's late layup off a feed from Leary. Meredith Dufner connected at the line, and Marie Meyers added a smooth jumper as Widener controlled the pace on both ends, sealing an emphatic 86–36 victory to stay unbeaten.
