HOW IT HAPPENED
- Widener exploded out of the gate with a relentless full-court defensive effort, forcing turnover after turnover as Kutz, Daniels, and Stackhouse swiped nearly everything in sight. Robbins scored the game's first points on a layup, and from there the Pride went on an early 10–2 run fueled by multiple steals and fast-break finishes. Kutz was unstoppable, scoring repeatedly in transition and pushing the pace after every Gallaudet turnover. Palmieri added key second-chance baskets as Widener controlled the offensive glass. Casiello buried a late three, and Baer hit a jumper in the final minute as the Pride closed the quarter up 33–6, their most dominant period of the night.
- Widener continued to pressure the Bison, opening the quarter with a Robbins putback and more transition buckets. Robbins scored multiple times inside, including another offensive-rebound finish that pushed the lead beyond 30. Mikeala Stair added a fast-break layup, while Daniels once again sparked turnovers on the perimeter. Dufner drilled a three late in the frame to help extend the advantage. Widener carried a commanding 48–12 lead into halftime, having outscored Gallaudet 30–3 in points off turnovers across the first twenty minutes.
- Gallaudet found its footing offensively, but Widener stayed in control. Robbins opened the half still effective inside, while Palmieri contributed on the glass as the Pride matched Gallaudet's energy despite a slower scoring quarter. Widener would head in the fourth with a 57-26 lead.
- With a commanding lead heading into the final frame, the Pride would add on eight more points to close out the night. Sophia Sanchez and Marie Meyers would score late buckets and the Pride played to seal a 65–40 victory and moving to 4–0 on the season.
