BY THE NUMBERS HOW IT HAPPENED
  • To open the game, Daulerio opened with a good triple to take an early lead as he sunk another to take a four-point lead. Schenk would open the game with a block as Kori Segich and Luke Mazur put in back to back layups. The triple rain continued at the 16:00 minute mark with another Daulerio bucket. Bright put up a block at 13:20 before the Jumbos took a lead. A slow offensive stretch would end with a Schenk layup to cut the lead to 10 at the halfway mark. Bright hit a triple with Mazur poking a steal and then hitting a fast break layup. Back to back triples ended the scoring for the Pride in the first as the Blue and Gold went into the locker room down 50-30.
  • A set of charity stripe shots from Daulerio to open the second. A Daulerio layup right after would start a quick second. Mazur sunk a triple with a Kane assist. Bright pushed the score to 40 with a good triple from Segich. Steven Hamilton saw his first points at the 10:43 mark of the second with a good triple and would put in a good jumper in the paint seconds later. Out of a 30 Pride timeout allowed Hamilton to push the Pride to 50 points. At the 7:40 mark Kane put up a block to keep the Jumbos lead under 20. Segich's triple started a 14-2 run to bring the lead under 10. Jay-Nelly Reyes saw two pairs of free throws to move the Blue and Gold over 60. Matt Johnson's steal drew a foul to send him to the stripe for his first points. The Pride ended with a 78-64 loss.
