HOW IT HAPPENED
- Daulerio would start the Pride off with a tying layup a minute and a half into the game. Mazur drained a triple to help the Pride climb to a 9-0 run with Daulerio and Myles Bright picking up defensive stops. Back-to-back triples from Daulerio and Mazur would give a 10-point cushion just over the half mark. The Lions would answer with a run of their own to come back and take a lead. A jumper from Daulerio would keep it close at the 5:18 mark. With under three left the Pride went on to outscore the Lions 8-4 to head into half down 43-39.
- Reyes opened the second with two shots from the stripe which led into a steal and two more quick points. Mazer sunk another triple at 15:07 to cut the deficit to 8. The Pride would go on a 21-6 run to tie the game at 78 with 6:37 left. In that string, Mazur and Dylan Schlatter would drain triples to aid the swing. With under two remaining, Mazur put in two from the stripe while Schlatter made a block to help slow the Lions. Two shots from the Lions would fall and give them a three point lead while Schlatter tried to answer as time expired. The Pride would fall 91-89.
