ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Women's Volleyball sees their win streak snapped at the hands of the Eastern Eagles.Â
The Pride fall to 10-5 on the season and begin conference play 0-1.Â

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ

Eastern set the tone early, going on a 1-6 run to put the Pride down 3-7. Unfortunately, the Pride would suffer a bigger 1-11 run as the Eagles would take a 9-22 lead. An Eastern kill would would finish the set as the Pride would fall 12-25.Â

The beginning of the second again would be all Eastern, as the Pride would start down 2-5. Another big run, this time 1-9, would see the Pride down 8-17 in the set. Though Widener would fight hard down the stretch, an Eastern kill would see them take the set 15-25.Â

Despite a Liz Barnes kill to start the third set, the Eagles would score the next seven straight to take a 1-7 lead. A 1-10 Eastern run would have Widener down 3-17, but Campbell Chronister's kill would spark a four straight run to close the gap at 7-17. The set and match would end in a 1-6 Eagle's run as the Pride wuld take a 11-25 loss.Â
