CHESTER, Pa. - Widener Women's Soccer suffers first loss of the season to the Montclair State Red Hawks.
The Pride fall to 1-1 on the season and remain 0-0 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
· In the first half, Montclair State was able to grab the lead at the 12:19 mark. The Red Hawks struck again with another goal at 17:02. After allowing two early goals, the Widener defense was able to settle in and prevent Montclair State from adding on to their lead.
· The pride carried their defense over into the second half, until the Red Hawks were able to break through and score their third goal of the day. Even though they were down, The Pride kept fighting until the last minute.
Maggie Boyes put a shot on goal at the 89:10 mark that went right of the post.
· Each team had one yellow card.
