CHESTER, Pa. – After a week of downing records and winning a conference championship, Widener Women's Track and Field continues to down records at Widener Final Qualifier.
Maria Muzzarelli captured a 12.31 in the 100-meter dash for her only event of the afternoon.
Mariam Koita saw a regional cut in the 200-meter dash where she clocked a 25.44.
In the 800-meter run,
Donna Holt shaved off two seconds from her own Widener record from last weekend. Holt would clock in a 2:12.56.
A month after her 5000-meter run record,
Gabby Nye continued her dominance. Nye would better her own record set in April with a new time of 16:57.22.
Liz Egan also downed her own Widener record in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Egan's time from last weekend of an 11:09.63 was met with a 11:05.58.
The triple jump would showcase
Kayla Robinson who would jump a 12.05-meter distance on her last attempt. In the circle she would also take first in the shot put with a 12.97-meter throw.
Isabel Rodriguez would take home a Widener record in the hammer throw after tossing a new personal best 53.83-meter hammer. Rodriguez also threw a 34.84-meter throw in the discus.

Widener will travel a handful to the 2024 AARTFC Outdoor Championships hosted by SUNY Cortland on Wednesday and Thursday, May 15 and 16.
