HAVERFORD, Pa. – In the final meet before MAC Championships, Widener Women's Track and Field saw a handful of conference cuts and a regional standard.
Olivia DeVito ran in the 400-meter dash where she would run a new personal best. DeVito clocked a 1:05.33.
In the mile,
Kathryn Long ran a personal best with a 5:26.03.
Emily Rudolph ran in the 3000-meter run and finished in a 1:28.39. Both would place second.
Sydni Bell led three in the 60-meter hurdles as she placed second in 9.90. Bell led first year Kayla Robinson and sophomore
Theresa Kervick. Robinson clocked a 10.19 while Kervick clocked a 10.46. Robinson's 10.19 registered a new personal best.
Kervick also took to the field events where she competed in the high jump. She would jump a 1.37-meter height. In the long jump, Robinson snagged a second with a 5.14-meter jump while Kervick marked a 4.73-meter jump.
Earning a regional cut was Robinson in the triple jump. She marked an 11.28-meter jump. In the shot put she saw a new personal best with a 12.64-meter throw.

Widener will head to the 2024 MAC Championships on Friday, Feb. 23. MAC Championships will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 24 and are set for competition in the PLEX Fieldhouse on Alvernia's campus.
