CHESTER, Pa. – Men's Soccer unable to continue unbeaten streak in loss to the Stockton University Osprey.
The Pride move to 5-4-3 in the regular season and remain 1-0 in the MAC Commonwealth.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Coming off two straight shutouts, The Pride defense continued their dominance on the defensive side of the ball. Widener did not allow Stockton to get a shot on goal until the 28:38 mark which was saved by Kyle Stone. The Osprey would only manage to put up two more shots for the remainder of the half, unable to convert any of them into goals. Despite this fabulous defensive effort, The Pride offense was unable to get their offense moving only attempting two shots in the first half. The game would go into the half with a zero-to-zero tie.
- The Pride attempted to kick start their offense in the second half by putting two shots on goal at the 50:44 mark and the 56:31 mark, both shots were saved by the Stockton's keeper. Widener continued their fantastic defensive performance until The Osprey were finally able to score the first goal of the match at the 73:19 mark. The Pride fought until the end, putting a shot on goal at the 86:26 mark that was saved by The Osprey keeper. The final score of the match would end with a Stockton one-to-zero victory.
