CHESTER, Pa. – Men's Soccer put on an offensive clinic in conference win against the Stevenson Mustangs
The Pride move to 6-4-3 in the regular season and 2-0 in the MAC Commonwealth.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Looking to gain their second conference win of the year, The Pride came ready to play today. Widener was able to strike first at 20:03 when Stefano Turano scored off a pass from Monsif Atify. The Pride were not satisfied with one goal as they took the ball back and immediately scored at 22:50 courtesy of Monsif Atify. With a two-to-nothing lead, Widener was able play aggressively on defense, only allowing Stevenson to get one shot off for the entire half.
- After a stellar first half, The Pride were looking to add onto the lead. They did just that at the 58:19 mark with a goal from Jordi Lopez assisted by Stefano Turano. One goal was not enough for Jordi Lopez as he scored his second goal of the match at the 62:14 mark this time assisted by Michael Donaghy. Michael Burckley would then put the finishing touches on this game with The Pride's fifth goal of the game at 69:36 mark. The Pride defense would continue their fantastic play into the second half earning a shutout of The Mustangs and a five-to-zero victory.
