GLENSIDE, Pa. - Field Hockey would take a tough loss to Arcadia following a slow start to the game.
The Pride fall to 4-5 on the season and remain 1-1 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The first quarter was not kind to the Pride, as they suffered three goals in just over six minutes of play. Karly Bervinchak would snipe a goal to respond to the run, but Widener would trail 1-3 after the first.

The Pride would suffer a goal in the middle of the fourth as the Knights would take a two-goal lead. The Pride would take five shots to retaliate, but none would lead to scores. With under three minutes left, Arcadia would score on a penalty stroke as the Pride would fall 2-5.
