The Pride improve to 16-10 in season and remain 2-3 in conference play.
BY THE NUMBERS
HOW IT HAPPENED
-
The second set would start much closer, as a 3-0 Pride run would give them a 7-6 lead. The teams would trade points, with the Pride scoring two for each Wildcat point, until a 4-0 run capped off by a kill from Isabella Ricevuto would see Widener up 20-13. A Shannon Toomey kill would cap off a 5-1 run that would give the Pride a 25-16 win in set two.
-
The third set would start similar to the first, as the Pride would jump out to an 11-1 lead early. The Wildcat's 4-1 run would help the score for them, but a 13-1 Pride run would not. A Martucci service ace would close out the run, set, and match as Widener would win it 25-6.
