CHESTER, Pa. - Juliana Sanchez would pull off some late game heroics as the Pride would get a win over MAC rival Albright College. 

The Pride improve to 5-6 and 1-0 in conference play. 

OF NOTE 

Today's game was senior day, where the team celebrated the success and departure of their senior and graduate students. 

BY THE NUMBERS 

• Juliana Sanchez would record the timely single goal of the game. 

• Mackenzie Adamson would lead the team with six shots, four being on goal. 

• As a team, the Pride did not allow only one shot with none on goal. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The first quarter was quiet, as two Widener corners would lead to no goals. Albright would be held to no shots, and the game would be scoreless after one. 

• The second quarter was defensive as the Pride didn't allow a shot yet again. Mackenzie Adamson and Alex Quartapella shots would end in no goals as the scoreless tie would remain heading into half. 

• The third quarter saw much more offensively driven, as Albright would take their first shot of the game, and the Pride would tack on two more. Unfortunately, the scoreless tie would remain 

• Six Pride shots in the fourth quarter would all miss their mark, and with the Lions failing to score the game would see overtime. The period would be quick however, as Sanchez would nail a shot off a rebounded block from Adamson to win the game 1-0 two minutes into OT.

The Pride stay at Dixon Field as they face off against another MAC opponent in York College. Game time is set for Wednesday, October 16th at 7pm.
