HOW IT HAPPENED
- A slow start for the Pride was countered with a Steven Matlack triple two minutes into the game to tie at three. A Matlack to Kevin Schenk ball gave him a fastbreak dunk. Mike Kane would see a layup to take the lead with Dunn hitting a layup and a free throw on an And-1 30 seconds later. DiCaro's steal would give Mazur a fastbreak triple to start an 11-0 run with 13:28 remaining. Howie Rankine would close out the run with three free throws to lead 26-15. A triple from Dunn countered a jumper from the Eagles to lead into a Mazur jumper in the paint. As the half ticked under two, Dunn drained another triple from DiCaro while Xavier Ernest hit a free throw to close the half up 52-38.
- The Pride came out of half hot with a 7-0 run. Matt Daulerio hit a tip-in layup to lead into a Dunn block and a good triple a couple minutes later. Daulerio would push the lead to 20 with a good jumper and follow it up with a block. The Eagles would crawl back to a 12-point deficit but not before Myles Bright forced it back to 14 with a jumper. Under six minutes in the game sent Rankine to the charity stripe after an Eagles foul. Rankine's pair would an 8-0 run, putting the Pride to a 19-point lead. Closing out the game, Ernest's layup pushed the Pride to triple digits with a 100-83 win.
