GALLOWAY, N.J. - Women's Volleyball takes care of business against Stockton 3-1 as their tri-match turns into a solo game. 
 

The Pride improve 9-6 and remain 0-2 in-conference. Conference play will resume Wednesday, October 4^th at Hood College. 

BY THE NUMBERS 

• Shannon Toomey with a team leading 10 kills 

• Megan Barthol led the team with 30 assists 

• Megan Barthol also had a team-leading 21 digs, followed by Rachel DiCarlo with 20 

• Abigail Herrin was a defensive machine, recording one solo block and four assisted blocks 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Widener had to shake off some early jitters, falling behind due to errors and losing the first set 21-25 

• The Pride shake off the rust in the second set, helped by Liz Barnes' multiple late kills as they take the set 25-20 

• Down 7-13, Widener storms back in the third set to get the win 25-21 

• Finding themselves down again early, this time 4-9, Shannon Toomey and Alex Verchio score timely kills as the Pride finish the set and match with a 25-23 win 

UP NEXT 

The Pride will look to keep their winning streak alive on Wednesday, October 4^th at Hood College. Game time is set at 7pm.
