BALTIMORE, Md. - Women's Volleyball breezes past Goucher College 3-1 before getting a close 3-2 win against Neumann at the Goucher-hosted tri-match.
The Pride move to a 7–5 record and remain 0-1 in conference play. Their next in-conference game will be Tuesday, September 26th against Eastern University.

The Pride start slow in the first set, getting off to an early deficit they cannot recover from and losing 25-18 in set one

Tied at 13 in the middle of the second set, Widener scores the next six points in a row and wins the set 25-21

Widener keeps the hot hand into the third set, and along with some timely Neumann errors wins the set 25-16

The fourth set sees another tie game at 21, both teams go back and forth down the stretch until Neumann takes the set 25-23
