Fatiga’s Hat Trick is Plenty as Men’s Soccer Keeps Undefeated Streak Alive

Fatiga has Scored Two or More Goals in the Last Three Matches

CHESTER, Pa.Sean Fatiga saw a season-high in goals on Saturday, pushing Widener to a 4-1 win against the Misericordia University Cougars.

The Pride are 7-0-0 in the regular season. They see their first conference opponent, the York College Spartans, next Saturday, Sept. 30.

BY THE NUMBERS
  • Widener had 16 shots (seven on goal). Misericordia had 11 shots (seven on goal).
  • The battle of corner kicks was close. The Cougars had five, while the Pride had four.
  • Ryan Van Pelt made five saves in goal. Kyle Stone made a save as well.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST MISERICORDIA
  • Two of Widener's goals were the exact same sequence: Fatiga goal, with a Hector Suriel assist. Suriel's two assists were a season-high.
