Women’s Soccer Ties Wilkes in Saturday Matinee

The Pride Recorded Their Fourth Draw of the Season

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. –Widener women's soccer, despite good play on Saturday, ended with a scoreless draw to the Wilkes University Colonels. It is their fourth scoreless draw of the season.

The Pride are 0-2-4 in the regular season. They will play their first conference match against the York College Spartans on Sept. 30.

BY THE NUMBERS
  • The Pride had 13 shots (seven on goal). The Colonels had 10 shots (three on goal).
  • In goal, Nicole Rende made three saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST WILKES
  • The Pride were aggressive early on. Wilkes' goalie made two saves in the first 10 minutes of play.
