Women’s Soccer Ties Haverford as the Pride Record Third Draw of the Season

Widener has Tied Scranton, Sewanee, and Haverford

CHESTER, Pa. – Widener women's soccer is still searching for their first win of the season after they finished with a scoreless tie vs. Haverford on Wednesday.

The Pride are 0-2-3 in the regular season. They will play their first conference match against the York College Spartans on Sept. 30.

BY THE NUMBERS
  • Widener had five shots (none on goal). Haverford had 17 shots (four on goal).
  • In goal, Samantha Coon made four saves. Her season total is at 26.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST HAVERFORD
  • Of the five shots by the Pride, all were taken by a different player.
