HOW IT HAPPENED AT GEORGE C. BOLLMAN CENTER
After a quick 5-0 start by the Lions, Dunn's successful triple got the Pride on the board. Widener faced an early deficit in this game, but they slowly took a 10-9 lead after a 7-0 push. Albright continued their offensive attack, only for a Holden three to cut the Widener deficit in half. The score was 16-13 Albright. With 13 minutes until the half, the Pride created a small cushion between them and the Lions. A layup by Myles Bright with 10 minutes left made the score 27-21 Widener. Luke Mazur added a three to that lead as well. The two teams traded buckets as the half drew closer to the final minutes, but the Pride made sure Albright was not going to retake the lead. The last points of the half for either side was a Mazur three. The Pride were leading after 20 minutes by a score of 44-31. In the first half, Widener hit 16 field goals, with eight of them being triples. They were near perfect from the free throw line, hitting four of five shots.

A Dunn three got the Pride going as the second half was underway. Although the Lions were carving into the deficit, a Schenk jumper made the score 49-38 Widener. Toward the middle of the half, Albright's comeback attempt strengthened. An 8-0 run had them only down by four points. But, a 12-2 push by the Pride was enough for the Lions to stop in their tracks. Despite good offense by the Pride, their defense allowed the Lions to tie the game 70-70 with three minutes left. The Pride, however, executed an 8-2 run, capped off with a Schenk dunk in the closing seconds, to cap off the win. The final score was Widener 78-72. For the second half, Widener was 14-35 (40%) on field goals and 3-9 (33.3%) on threes. The Pride gave Albright a loss in their regular-season finale.
