CHESTER, Pa. - Widener Field Hockey falls 0-3 against Arcadia University at home.
The Pride drop to 3-6 on the season. Conference play will begin next game, Saturday, October 7th against Hood College.

Arcadia came out the gates swinging, scoring two goals at the end of the first quarter to take a 0-2 lead

Widener Goalkeeper Arwen Fithian saves the only shot taken in the second quarter as the Pride trial at half 0-2

Despite multiple saves by Pride Goalkeeper Abby Blake in the third quarter, one shot sneaks in to give Arcadia a 0-3 lead in the end of the third quarter

The fourth quarter was a defensive period that saw no goals as the Pride lose 0-3
