CHESTER, Pa. - The Pride get their third sweep in as many games as they beat Alvernia 3-0. 

The Pride improve to 13-7 on the season and 2-3 in conference play.

• The Pride go on two four-point runs as they blow past Alvernia 25-17 in the first set 

• The Pride absolutely dominate the second set, going on a five-point run and three four-point runs as they win 25-12 

• Widener finishes the set and match with a 9-2 run and get a 25-17 win

The Pride will play again at home tomorrow, October 19^th for their senior night against Gwynedd Mercy. That game is set for 7pm.
