CHESTER, Pa. - Women's Volleyball loses a close 0-3 sweep against the MAC's #2 ranked Stevenson University.
The Pride fall to 10-7 on the season and 1-3 in conference play. Their next conference match will be played at home against Alvernia University on October 18th at 7pm.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Widener jumped out to an early 10-4 lead against Stevenson, but were ultimately bested 22-25

Despite an impressive attacking performance by Shannon Toomey and Lilyanna Martucci in the second set, Stevenson again prevails 17-25

Down 15-20 late in the third set, Lilyanna Martucci scores three kills along with a block; unfortunately, a strong Mustang sequence downs Widener 21-25
