ANNVILLE, Pa. – Nine Widener University student-athletes have been named to the Spring MAC All-Sportsmanship Team, the conference office announced Tuesday. The team includes one student-athlete from each institution for each sport, including baseball, men's golf, women's golf, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, softball, men's outdoor track and field, women's outdoor track and field, and men's volleyball.
Representing Widener this year are
Lauren Covert (women's golf),
Dylan Falkowski (men's golf),
Olivia Giannella (women's outdoor track and field),
Kevin Martin (men's volleyball),
Ceci Puente (women's lacrosse),
Brandon Reis (baseball),
Liv Robinson (softball),
Zack Smith (men's outdoor track and field), and
Andrew Spencer (men's lacrosse).
The MAC All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify great character and display exceptional sportsmanship both on and off the field. They represent their team, institution and the conference with high integrity, and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches and opponents. They are humble and hold themselves with pride, competing at the same level of intensity no matter who the competition is, or outcome of the contest. These student-athletes were selected by the head coaches and student-athletes from their respective teams.
