CHESTER, Pa. – Max Hartke scored a goal in the 84
th minute to help the Widener men's soccer team forge a 1-1 tie with Lebanon Valley on Saturday in its MAC Commonwealth match at Lebanon Valley.
The tie kept the Pride unbeaten in conference play, as they are 2-0-1. The Pride also improved to 6-4-1 overall on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST LEBANON VALLEY
- After a scoreless first half, the Pride allowed a goal in the 62nd minute to Lebanon Valley's Jacob Kramer.
- However, Hartke scored his second career goal to knot up the game for the Pride.
- From there, the Pride saw junior Sean Fatiga take two shots at the goal in the final six minutes, but the Dutchmen saved both of them to end the game in a tie.
- Fatiga and Monsif Atify led the Pride with three shots and two shots on goal apiece.
- Kyle Stone made five saves for Widener in net.

Widener will be back in action on Tuesday when it heads to Glenside, Pa. to take on Arcadia in a non-conference match. Kickoff for that game is at 7 p.m.
