FREDERICK,Md- The Widener women's soccer team faced off against Hood on Saturday afternoon, but it could not bring home a road win after the Blazers came away with a 1-0 victory.
This loss puts the Pride at 7-5-4 on the season and 3-2-1 in MAC Conference play.
HERE'S HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST HOOD
-The Blazers got on the board early in the match, scoring a goal at the 38-minute mark. The Pride defense was able to prevent the Blazers from scoring any other goals for the remainder of the game.
- The Pride had a limited number of possessions and chances to score in the game, as Hood outshot them, 14-5.
-Samantha Coon was in goal today for the Pride and tallied eight saves.
