READING,Pa.- The Widener women's soccer team picks up a 1-0 victory against MAC Commonwealth opponent Albright Tuesday night at Shirk Stadium.  

This victory puts the Pride at 7-4-4 on the season and 3-1-1 in MAC conference play. 

HERE'S HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST ALBRIGHT 

- After almost two halves of scoreless action, the Pride got on the scoreboard in the 85th minute when sophomore Morgan Hart found Nicole Buonavolta, who scored the Pride's only goal of the game. The Pride took that 1-0 lead to the end of the match.  

-Pride offense outshot the Lions twelve shots to two, seven of those shots were on goal. 

- This win is Widener's fifth shutout on the season after also blanking Stevenson 1-0 last Saturday.

The Pride is on the road as they travel to play Hood in another MAC conference match. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
