HOW IT HAPPENED
Things got off to a great start for the Pride, connecting on 8-of-14 shots in the opening frame, pulling ahead 17-8 on a layup by Phelan. From that point, the shooting went cold for both teams. Widener shot just 2-of-12 in the second quarter with the Falcons going 5-of-21. On the strength of offensive rebounding, Messiah chipped away at the lead for the Blue and Gold, tying the game on a driving layup before the half.
The second half saw the Falcons pull away, before securing the victory in the fourth quarter.
