YORK, Pa. – The Widener University men's and women's swimming team competed in their final dual matches of the season on Saturday. The women fell 108-83 while the men were upended 126-71.

On the women's side, Emma Reistle picked up a victory in the 200 free with a time of 2:06.76. She later touched first in the 100 back with her 1:03.61 clocking.

In the 200 free relay, the quartet of Tori Freiling, Sally Meyers, Teresa LaPointe, and Liz Gilsenan finished first in 1:53.55.

For the men,
Garrett Parthemore won the 200 mixed butterfly with a time of 2:24.60. He also had a second place finish in the 200 IM, touching the wall in 2:27.68.

Daniel Parker was second each in the 1,000 free and 100 back respectively with times of 10:39.82 Â and 57.38. Timothy Dando placed second in the 200 free at 1:51.69 as well as the 500 free with a 5:22.93.

Widener is next in action April 15-18 for the MAC Championships.
