KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sean Fatiga of the Widener University men's soccer team has been named to the 2021 United Soccer Coaches Division III All-Region V Second Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday. Fatiga is the first Widener player in program history to receive the honor.

The conference leader in goals and points, Fatiga was named the MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Year and earned All-Conference First Team honors earlier this month. Competing in his first full collegiate season, the sophomore's 35 points and 16 goals represented single-season program records. He also led the Pride with 67 shots and 34 attempts on goal while adding three assists.

The Woolwich Township, N.J. native logged a team-high four multi-goal games with perhaps his most memorable one coming in a 5-0 win over Misericordia on Sept. 25. Fatiga's four goals and eight points in the contest tied Widener single-game records.
