CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Madi Radnoff scored a pair of goals and
Jess Alba added one goal as the Widener University field hockey team defeated DeSales, 3-1, on Tuesday night to win its fifth game in a row.

With the non-conference win, the Pride pushed their record to 9-2 overall on the season.

After a scoreless first period, the Pride got on the scoreboard first in the second period after Alba knocked the ball into the back post of the cage off a pass from
Jesse Schlosser. The Pride took that 1-0 lead into halftime.

In the second half, Radnoff put in her first goal in the third period off a loose ball in the circle. In the fourth period after DeSales got a goal in the first two minutes, Radnoff knocked in her 15th goal of the season off a Schlosser pass to put the exclamation point on the victory.

With her two goals, Radnoff now has 32 career goals, which is good for fourth place all-time in Widener history. In addition, Radnoff's 15 goals on the season are the third-highest total by a Pride player in a single season.
