OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Widener University men's soccer team took the Stevenson University Mustangs to OT on Wednesday night, but were ultimately dealt a conference setback as Mustangs ended the match with a goal in the second overtime period.

Sean Fatiga chipped over a charging Mustangs goalkeeper to make the tally 1-1.
Widener took the lead in the 85th minute after Donaghy fired off shot from 30 yards out that found the back of the net. That lead was short lived, however, as Stevenson tied the score back up a minute later to send the game to extra periods.
The Blue and Gold held off the opposing attack in the first overtime period, but a header from Mustangs forward Dylan Holy in the second finally brought the match to a close after 104 minutes of play.

Widener looks to bounce back when it returns to Quick Stadium this Saturday, October 16 to face the Blazers of Hood College. Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
