CHESTER, Pa. - The Widener University women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 win over Wilkes and dropped a match against Salisbury on Saturday at Schwartz Athletic Center.
The Pride topped the Lady Colonels, 25-14, 22-25, 25-20, 25-13, but fell to Salisbury, 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.
With the split, the Pride are 14-7 overall on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST WILKES
- The Pride tied their season high in kills for a match with 55 kills in the victory. Lilyanna Martucci led the Pride with a career-high 17 kills, while Alnisha Saintilus added 12 in the win.
- Megan Barthol tallied a match-high 25 assists for the Blue and Gold. Sydney Nicholas had double figures in assists as well, handing out 19.
- Madeline Dutterer topped the Pride in digs with 17.
- Rachel DiCarlo served up a match-high four aces.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST SALISBURY
- The Pride tallied 30 kills in the defeat. Martucci led the team with eight.
- Barthol and Nichols notched double figures in assists, dishing out 15 and 10, respectively.
- Dutterer stood out for the Pride on defense, making 10 digs.
