GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Widener University women's volleyball team concluded play with a pair of matches at the Profs Invitational. Widener fell to Ursinus 3-0 before a 3-2 setback against Misericordia.

NOTES VS. URSINUS (24-26, 22-25, 21-25)
- Leading the way for the Pride attack were Hollie Jones, Shelby Motz, and Claire Kaufmann with seven kills. Motz also had 13 digs.
- Ashley McAfee topped WU with 17 digs.
- Sydney Nichols connected for 21 assists, adding three kills of her own.
- The first set was a tight battle in which neither team held more than a three-point edge. After Widener took a 10-9 lead, the teams traded one-point leads until the Pride went up 20-18. Ursinus rallied, going up 23-21. The Blue and Gold came back to knot the score at 24-24 before the Bears finished the final two points of the set.
- Ursinus led the entire second set from the opening serve, but by no more than three points. Following a timeout, a kill by Nichols tied the score at 22-22. A trio of attacks from the Bears closed the set.
- The Blue and Gold held the lead in the third set through the midway point before an 8-2 Ursinus run gave the Bears control of the set.

NOTES VS. MISERICORDIA (25-18, 22-25, 27-25, 20-25, 16-18)
- Motz led the way with 16 kills. Kaufmann added 13.
- Nichols posted 28 assists, four shy of her career high. McAfee added 25 digs.
- After splitting the first four sets the Pride went up 8-5 before the Cougars took a 14-13 lead, setting up match point. The Pride battled back, taking a 15-14 lead, but could not hold.
