ASTON, Pa. – The Widener University women's volleyball team played in the Neumann Knights Invitational on Friday evening, taking on Rosemont College in game one and Moravian University in game two.

The Pride took the first match against Rosemont, sweeping the Ravens in straight sets. WU fell to the Greyhounds in match two 3-1.
 
Notes vs. Rosemont (25-7, 25-6, 25-14)

• Claire Kaufmann led the team in blocks and kills with two and 10, respectively.
• Liz Kwon posted a season-high 16 assists. She also had two service aces.
• Maddie Dutterer recorded a team-high five digs. Ashley McAfee and Shelby Motz had four each.
• WU hit .647 is set one and .471 for the entire match.

 
Notes vs. Moravian (25-16, 24-26, 23-25, 16-25)

• Kaufmann and Motz combined for 24 kills.
• Motz went for three service aces.
• Sydney Nichols tallied 18 assists.
• McAfee was the dig leader for Widener with 18.
