How it happened
After a scoreless opening four minutes, Widener opened the flood gates. First, it was
John Dunbar capitalizing on an assist from Heisman. A minute later, Heisman got his 15th of the year. Three more goals in a one minute and 12 second span put the Pride up five going into the second quarter. The only goal in the second quarter came from the stick of Dunbar. His second of the day made it 6-0 at the half.
Connor Ball had goal number seven, then three straight from Albright put the deficit at four. Despite the comeback effort, the Pride kept Albright at bay, maintaining a comfortable edge until the final whistle.
