CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University men's volleyball team gave its hardest battle of the year, eventually falling in tough fashion to the Eastern Eagles 3-1 on Wednesday evening by set scores of 22-25, 25-19, 16-25, 30-32.
 
BY THE NUMBERS

• Widener set several season highs including in kills as Wil Caccuiatore had 11. Ty Dorang chipped in with a career-best eight successful attacks and Alex Arnow had seven.
• Cacciatore and Matt Lambert each posted 12 digs to lead the defensive effort.
• Connor Johnson led the way with 26 assists, contributing six digs.
• The .118 hitting percentage is the highest this season.
• The Pride also posted a 2019 best six blocks.
