Devan Rimmer scored 19 points as the Widener University women's basketball team pulled away for a 73-51 victory against Neumann in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday night.

Widener got off to a slow start, not scoring for the opening three-plus minutes of the game. Recovering, the Pride scored 18 points in the final 6:22 of the first quarter, shooting 7-of-10 from the floor, including 3-for-3 from beyond the arc to lead 18-13 after 10 minutes. WU carried the momentum into the second period, netting eight of the first 12 points, opening a 26-17 edge midway through the frame. An even remainder of the stanza led to the Blue and Gold carrying a 39-27 advantage into halftime.

Not letting up as the second half began, Widener used second chance points to its advantage as five offensive rebounds led to the Pride taking seven more shots in the third quarter as it outscored the Knights 21-11, pulling away. An even fourth period cemented the score.

- In addition to her point total, Rimmer filled the stat sheet with four rebounds, a block, and two steals.
- Madison Ireland netted 13, including going 3-for-5 from beyond the arc, her second game in a row with a trio of treys.
