WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. –
Cali Capetola provided a goal in the 85th minute for the Widener University women's soccer team, lifting the Pride to a 2-1 win against MAC Commonwealth opponent Lycoming on Saturday afternoon.

How it happened
WU let off five shots before breaking through. The Pride was awarded a corner kick in the 26th minute. Slusher took it and found the head of Schall. The freshman forward guided the ball into the back of the net, giving Widener the 1-0 lead.
Ashton Houbary stopped the only shot she faced for the remainder of the half, helping the Blue and Gold carry its advantage into the intermission.
Lycoming tied it a little over five minutes into the second half. The Pride did not flinch, keeping the pressure on the Warriors defense.
Bella Abrams nearly recaptured the edge, ripping a shot off the crossbar in the 59th minute. Capetola replaced
Alyssa Dionisio in the 78th minute. She did not waste much time before making an impact.
Melissa Koch played a ball for Capetola in the 85th minute. The sophomore fired it upper-90 past the Warrior keeper, sealing the 10th victory of the year for the Pride.
