READING, Pa. – Behind several strong performances in both individual events and relays, the Widener University women's swimming team picked up its first win of the season, downing the Albright Lions 184-76 on Saturday afternoon.

Angelina Franceschini touched first in the 200 fly, clocking in at 2:18.77. She later won the 500 free with a time of 5:32.57.

Jill Bujanowski took the top spot in the 100 free, coming in at 56.37. She also won the 100 fly in 1:00.40.

In the 50 free,
Azaria Luckey won her first career race, finishing in a time of 26.79.
Emma Reistle claimed the top spot in the 200 free with a time of 2:02.04.
Teresa LaPointe finished first in the 200 IM with her 2:29.01.

Kayli Hernandez won both the 100 and 200 back with times of 1:05.76 and 2:25.07 respectively.
Ana Konyak finished the 200 breaststroke in 2:48.50, taking top honors.

In the 400 free relay, the Winer quartet of Bujanowski, Reistle, Franceschini, and Luckey were first to place in a time of 3:54.09. Getting the meet started, Reistle,
Sammy Grogan, Franceschini, and Bujanowski won the 200 medlet relay in 1:57.29.

The Pride returns to action on Saturday, November 2 when it takes on Messiah and Hood in a double dual in Grantham, Pa.
