GLENSIDE, Pa. –
Allyson Paul scored the second goal of her collegiate career but the Widener University women's soccer team dropped a MAC Commonwealth match to #15 Arcadia by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon.
How it happened
All three of the Knights' goals came in the first half, spanning across 14 minutes (9:24-23:43). The Pride defense weakened the Arcadia attack after, allowing just three shots for the rest of the half.
Bella Abrams and
Kimmy Lyons recorded the first shots of the game for WU.
In the 86th minute,
Alyssa Dionisio played a cross from the right side for Paul. The freshman finished the shot in the top right corner. The Blue and Gold did not dig into the lead anymore, resulting in the 3-1 final.
