OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Widener University women's soccer team squared off against MAC Commonwealth opponent Stevenson on Saturday night, falling to the Mustangs by a score of 1-0.
How it happened
The Pride outshot the Mustangs 6-5 through the first period.
Ashton Houbary recoded four saves across the first 45 minutes. Solid goalkeeping on both ends made it scoreless at the break.
WU forced two corner kicks in the second half, but could not find the back of the net. The Mustangs goal came in the 58th minute.
Alyssa Dionisio led the way in shots with two. Houbary finished the night with eight saves.
