LANCASTER, Pa. – The Widener University women's swim team won a pair of individual events and had several strong finishes as the Pride competed at Franklin & Marshall, being upended by the host Diplomats 187-75 and York (Pa.) 158-104.

Jill Bujanowski took the top spot on the podium twice, winning the 200 fly in 2:14.28 before claiming the 200 breaststroke in 2:36.20. She also finished second in the 200 IM at a time of 2:18.23.

Angelina Franceschini posted a second place finish in the 200 free in a time of 2:02.17. She was also third in the 100 free, touching the wall in 56.96.

Sammy Grogan was third in the 100 breaststroke with her 1:14.26 clocking. Right behind was
Ana Konyak at 1:14.86. Grogan took second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:40.46.

Emma Reistle finished third in the 500 free in a time of 5:27.56.

Widener returns to action next Saturday, traveling to Albright for a 1:00 p.m. meet.
