LANCASTER, Pa. – The Widener University men's swim team faced got an early season test and came through with several top-five finishes as the Pride competed at Franklin & Marshall, being upended by the host Diplomats 204-58 and York (Pa.) 156-105.

Chris Fleming had the high placement of the day with a 2:03.90 in the 200 fly, ranking second.
Connor Feinour turned in a fifth place showing in the 500 free, clocking in at 5:07.98.

Nick Masciandaro placed fourth in the 1000 free with his time of 11:03.20. He was also fourth in the 100 back, touching the wall in 57.10. Finishing his day, the senior was fifth in the 200 back with a time of 2:05.08.

Martin Bohdan ranked third in in the 200 free and 50 free, clocking in at 1:48.06 and 22.10 respectively.
Tim Dando came in fifth in the 200 free at 1:52.72.

John Porter Luksic took a fourth place finish in the 100 breaststroke at 1:01.77 before placing third in the 200 breaststroke in 2:15.36.
Owen Liberatore was fourth in the 200 yard event, clocking in at 2:19.65.

Wrapping the individual events,
Daniel Parker had a third place time of 2:04.00 in the 200 IM.

Widener returns to action next Saturday, traveling to Albright for a 1:00 p.m. meet.
