CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Delaney Sabath posts the first shutout of her collegiate career as the Widener University women's soccer team ties DeSales University 0-0 on Saturday afternoon. 

The Pride tallied 16 total shots throughout the match, seven more than the Bulldogs. Brielle Errico, Lexi Slusher, and Alyssa Dionisio each fired off three shots a piece. The scoreless, double-overtime battle was the result of staunch defense on both sides.

Sabath racked up five saves in the 110 minute contest.

The Pride returns to Quick Stadium for its next match on Wednesday, September 12 against Rutgers-Camden. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
