GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Widener University women's volleyball team ran its winning streak to five matches as the Pride toppled both Ursinus and Curry by matching 3-0 finals at the Rowan Invitational on Friday.
 
NOTES VS. URSINUS (25-21, 25-18, 25-17)

• Clair Kaufmann led the attack with seven kills and a .357 hitting percentage. She also posted two blocks.
• Shelby Motz, Carly Venit, Hollie Jones, and Kelsey Lee had six kills each.
• Maddie Keller and Emma Wilcock led the Pride with 13 assists each.
• Ashley McAfee had 19 digs.
• Widener had to rally in the opening set as a six point run for the Bears put UC up 16-12. The Blue and Gold rallied, scoring six of the next seven points to go up 18-17. Tied at 20-20, WU ripped off a 5-1 run to claim the set.

 
NOTES VS. CURRY (25-11, 25-15, 25-23)

• Nicole Dorman led Widener with 11 kills in the match, hitting .409.
• Venit had a strong overall contest with 10 kills and a .533 hitting percentage with an ace and a dig.
• Wilcock posted 21 assists in the contest.
• As a squad, the Blue and Gold hit .368 for the contest, including .500 in the first set.
