CHESTER, Pa. –
Sam Scoma scored two goals, helping the Widener University field hockey team capture its fourth victory of the season on Wednesday night, beating the Neumann Knights 4-0.
After a scoreless first 25 minutes, Widener broke through first and took a one goal lead into the break. During the second half, the Pride found the back of the cage three times while getting off 10 shots. The defense did a terrific job of limiting Neumann University's scoring chances all night.
