ASTON, Pa. – The Widener women's volleyball team concluded play at the Knights Invitational, falling 3-1 to Catholic in the early match and 3-0 to Haverford in the afternoon contest.
 
NOTES VS. CATHOLIC (23-25, 25-21, 22-25, 17-25)

• Nicole Dorman came up just shy of a double-double with 14 kills and nine digs. She also had three aces.
• Sydney Nichols recorded 24 assists. Liz Kwon had 21.
• After coming close in the opening set, Widener fell behind early in the second. The Pride rallied to take a five point lead at 22-17 and held off a late Cardinals charge to claim the frame.

 
NOTES VS. HAVERFORD (16-25, 20-25, 23-25)

• Carly Venit had a strong overall match with eight kills, two blocks, and an ace.
• Kelsey Lee led the Pride with four blocks.
• Ashley McAfee posted 17 digs.
