IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Widener University field hockey team notched its third W of the season on Thursday night, beating Immaculata 3-0. The reserves were huge in the team win, contributing two of the Pride's three goals.
After a scoreless 22 minutes, Widener found the back of the cage first and never looked back. A second goal in the 23rd minute gave the Pride a comfortable lead at halftime. Goal number three arrived in the 51st minute, cementing the victory.
